STECH'09 will be held at the Toki Messe (Niigata Convention Center) looking out on the Sinano River which is the longest river in JAPAN. It is situated only 2km from Niigata Station. Niigata is the largest Japanese city facing the Sea of Japan. It is conveniently connected with the Tokyo area by the Joetsu Shinkansen (bullet train) and takes approximately 2hrs from Tokyo Central Station.
