Thank you for your willingness to act as a session chair. We would be grateful if you could take care of the following:
1.
Please present yourself at the registration desk at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your session for your presence confirmation.
2.
In the Final Program, please confirm the final schedule of presentation of papers in your session.
3.
Please check the coversheets of the papers to be presented in your session, which are put on the chairperson's desk. If you have any questions, please ask speakers before your session starts.
4.
Speakers in your session are asked to be in the session room and contact you at least 20 minutes before the session starts.
5.
The chair will briefly introduce the speaker according to the coversheet and the theme of the paper to be presented (within 1 minute).
6.
Presentation including discussion of each paper is limited to 20 minutes in principle; 15 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
7.
If speakers in your session do not appear, you can rearrange the session schedule; you may extend the presentation of other papers.

There are some changes in the schedule. Please confirm the session and the session room in the Final Program.

You are asked to be in the session room and contact the session chairs at least 20 minutes before the session starts.

You have 20 minutes for your presentation (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion).

All speakers are supposed to visit the PC Preview desk located at the foyer on the 3rd floor, at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your session. We check the data from flash memory, CD-ROM, or your own PC at the PC Preview desk.

Speakers can use a PC (Windows XP) arranged by the committee or their own laptop computer.
The projection size is XGA (width: 1,024 pixels, height: 768 pixels).
If you bring your presentation data in a flash memory or CD-ROM, please remember the followings;
1)
Please prepare your presentation with "Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, 2007".
2)
The slide data and video or audio files should be saved in the same folder.
If you make your presentation with these files, please bring your own computer to avoid some trouble on running video or audio files.
If you bring your own computer, please remember the followings;
1)
Please bring your backup data in a USB memory or CD.
2)
If you would like to use Macintosh, please bring your own computer.
4.
When making your presentation, please operate the computer on the podium by yourself. If you are going to ask some help in your presentation, please tell it to the engineer at the PC Preview desk.
5.
A Projector is prepared in the session room for your presentation.
The connector type is Mini-Dsub-15 pins (15-pin RGB out-put). Please note an adaptor may be required for connection, depending on the computer type. For example, almost all the Macintosh computers require some adapter for connection with a projector.
6.
Please bring your PC by yourself to the staff desk in the technical session room.
7.
The first slide will be shown on the screen when you stand on the stage.
8.
Please remember to receive your PC at the staff desk after your presentation.
